Toni To – Occupational Therapist

Hi, I’m Toni!
I’m an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience in paediatrics, having graduated from the University of Queensland. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across public and private hospitals and educational settings—including state, private, and special schools—in both Brisbane and Townsville.

Working with children and their families is my passion. I firmly believe that with the right support, every child has the potential to achieve extraordinary outcomes. As a mother of three, including a child with a disability, I truly understand the importance of having the right support and the profound impact it can have on a child’s growth and development.

At Twinkle Toes Therapy, we use play as a powerful tool for learning and growth. I assess children’s abilities in everyday activities, school performance, and daily living tasks, then use creative problem-solving to help them participate more fully in all areas of life.

I believe occupational therapy empowers people to live their best life—at home, at school, at work, in the community and everywhere in between. My role is to help children overcome the challenges that hold them back, so they can do the things they need to do and love to do.

I focus on the child, not the diagnosis. A disability does not define a child’s future—I believe in their ability to grow, succeed, and flourish.

Samantha Cervellin – Physiotherapist

My name is Samantha but most people just call me Sam! I have over 12 years working in education to support children of all abilities. I also have experience working with children in an acute inpatient setting in hospitals. My passion is working with children to support and develop their movement, strength and posture in order to maximise their access, participation and enjoyment in daily activities.

As a parent of two young children with a disability, I appreciate the importance of finding the correct services and support. I believe that all children, regardless of their abilities and differences, have potential, and should be given the opportunity to realise and reach their full potential. To help children achieve their goals I will conduct a comprehensive assessment and develop individualised treatment programs to assist them to be happy, confident and thriving kids.

Being predominantly mobile makes therapy convenient and comfortable. I work with you in the setting that you choose to embrace the natural learning environment and ensure that recommendations can be incorporated into everyday routines.
