Areas in Which We Can Assist Your Child
Occupational Services that Toni Can Offer
I have experience working with children from birth to 18 years who present with developmental delays, learning difficulties, ADHD, Down syndrome and autism, just to name a few. I work with the family and child to improve their function and participation in their home, school and community environment. I’ve worked in a range of settings, including with multi-disciplinary teams. Below are some ways in which I can help your child to thrive and live their best life.
- Self care tasks (toileting, dressing, grooming, eating)
- Fine and gross motor skill (handwriting, typing, balance, ball skills, climbing)
- Sensory processing (self-regulation, attention and concentration, managing behaviours, practicing mindfulness)
- Play skills (playing games, playing alone or with others)
- Social skills (understanding social rules, friendships)
- Executive function skills (organisation, planning, prioritising tasks)
